Some suggestions on how to prepare for our corporate prayer time.

  • Review the Prayer Bulletin before the start of prayer meetings.
  • Read the topic prayer guide and examples with Scriptures listed in the bulletin.
  • Before the meeting starts, make note the items you may pray about.
  • Be prepared to write down special prayer requests that may be shared at the prayer meeting.
  • Keep track of the items covered in prayer.
  • Pray about a requests that were not already covered by other saints in the prayer meeting.
  • You may pray more than once during the meeting if you feel inspired to do so.
  • One sentence and short prayers are encouraged.

I recently read a post from Crossway that was accompanied by a creative video on teaching children boundaries. The target age group is 3-7 years old. Author, Betsy Childs Howard, and Illustrator, Samara Hardy, did an remarkable job presenting this concept. Parents can understand it, and children can enjoy and learn from it.
